Howard Nichol served 30 years in the British military, concluding as the Army’s Head of Counterintelligence and Security. Specialising in Human Intelligence and Counterintelligence operations against a wide variety of threats including hostile state intelligence services, insider, terrorist and extremist groups, and organised crime, he served in the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans and Northern Ireland. Since leaving the military he has focused on the design and delivery of intelligence, security, and wider military capability development programmes on behalf of the UK and foreign governments, and global commercial clients. Howard is an expert in both insider and travel risk management and brings significant experience to the development of tailored programmes across a wide range of business sectors.
